Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your download, installation, and use of Pothik: Train & Flight Tracker (“Pothik”, “App”), provided by Zayn Miraj / Nimions. By installing or accessing the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Nature of Service & Independent Status

Pothik provides live train tracking, schedule information, station alerts, and global flight radar. Pothik is an independent application and is NOT an official app of Bangladesh Railway, the Ministry of Railways, or any governmental agency.

Information regarding train arrival times, platform numbers, ticket booking, and operational delays is compiled from open-source community feeds (including Find My BR Train) and theoretical timetables. Always confirm train departure times, platform assignments, and travel conditions with official railway personnel at the station before boarding.

2. Permitted Use

You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use Pothik strictly for personal, non-commercial transit assistance and informational purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the software.
• Automate scraping, spamming, or overload requests against community transit APIs.
• Transmit false, misleading, or malicious community location reports.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND ALL TRANSIT DATA ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SCHEDULE ACCURACY, OR CONTINUOUS AVAILABILITY.

Railway operating schedules, weather conditions, track maintenance, and technical delays are beyond our control. Neither Pothik nor its developers shall be liable for missed trains, flight delays, schedule disruptions, or consequential damages arising from reliance upon the App.

4. Intellectual Property

The software code, interface design, branding, and proprietary assets of Pothik belong to Zayn Miraj and Nimions. Open data components and mapping tiles remain the property of their respective licensors (Esri, OpenStreetMap, adsb.lol, OpenSky Network).

5. Termination

You may terminate these Terms at any time simply by uninstalling the application from your device.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
